Everyone’s skin is different.

We have skin types and colours, concerns and goals, and some habits that are not skin-friendly – all of which the way our skin behaves, reacts or ages. And with endless treatment and skincare options out there, and finding the right plan can be a little bit of a .

If you have mild skin concerns or you’d like to feel more confident in your skin but you’re unsure where to start, a free personalised skin consultation with a practitioner or nurse at sk:n can help you gain a deeper understanding of your skin, and which treatment and skincare programmes will get you to the best skin of your life.

What happens in the skin consultation

Our aim is to find out what you love and don’t love about your skin, if you have any particular skin  and what your skin goals are. We combine that information with a full skin and assessment, so we can create the right and skincare plan for you.

During your consultation, we’ll remove makeup or products from so we can fully examine your skin, assessing the texture, thickness and colour which could indicate such as acne or . Your skin will also be under a skin scanner, which can indicate if your skin is healthy, dehydrated, oily, or has sun damage. We will take your before photos, so you can see your progress throughout your treatment plan.

We’ll then discuss your daily and skincare and plan to get the best for you and your skin. We may recommend a number of options including peels, microneedling or Hydrafacial, and to use at home.  on your goals or the severity of your skin concern, we will refer you to a doctor or  nurse. And if you are interested in injectables as a solution to the signs of ageing, we can also refer you to a doctor or nurse prescriber too.

Book a General skin analysis and consultation skin with a specialist nurse or . Ideal for those with mild to moderate skin mild acne, skin, open pores, pigmentation, dull skin and mild signs of ageing, or for those who are simply just unsure where to start. Your skin will be fully examined for a number of skin concerns, your skin goals will be assessed, and your personalised treatment plan will be recommended. If you have more pronounced skin concerns that a doctor or , we may refer you, and can also refer you to a nurse prescriber or doctor for .

To secure an appointment, we will require a . Your credit or debit card will be against your . For or Nurse we take a fully refundable (subject to terms) deposit of £25 and £50 for Doctor led consultations. Please refer to our for more information.

Your skin consultation lasts around minutes. This will allow the practitioner to fully assess your skin and your skin goals, your concerns and create a recommended plan.

The consultation is completely free, but we do a £25 deposit to secure your . You won’t be charged if you attend your appointment, or you cancel or move your over 48 hours before your appointment in line with our  policy.​

The cost of your and/or skincare plan will be during your consultation, but can start from £59, on your clinic.

Your consultation will be with one of our nurses or practitioners with extensive of the skin. Should you have a more severe skin concern, they can also refer you into a doctor or  if you need to see one. Please note these with a doctor or dermatologist are  and do require a refundable* deposit – please check the consultation price before . We can also refer you to a doctor or nurse for an  consultation if you are about the signs of ageing. We will ask you to come makeup free, but feel free to bring some with you to put on after the consultation if you wish.

Our expert skin practitioners will ask a of questions which are designed to help them create the best plan of action to tackle your skin concern. For example:
